The best sun protection for your eyes

Transitions® Signature VII lenses

If you spend a lot of time outdoors, you may benefit from the latest in Transitions®  lens technology.

These are clear lenses which darken outdoors. They are suitable for everyday use as they automatically adapt to changing light conditions to reduce glare, eye fatigue and eye strain. They also help to preserve the health and well-being of the eyes by blocking 100% of harmful UV rays.

Transitions® Drivewear® and Xperio Polarised ®lenses

Driving conditions change rapidly and so do Transitions Drivewear® sun lenses. Their  polarisation removes glare off the road and car hood. Transitions photochromic technology adjusts the colour and tint of the lenses as light conditions change, providing ideal colour and clarity for driving.

In low light or overcast conditions, the lenses are a green/yellow colour that provide high contrast and minimise glare. Behind the windscreen, the lenses activate to a copper colour enhancing colour recognition and depth perception. In bright outdoor light, the lenses activate to a dark red-brown filtering excess light to provide maximum comfort.

Transtions Xperio® lenses combine polarising technology with the unmatched photochromic technology of Transitions lenses to further visual performance by increasing contrast and reducing glare. They are available in both Caramel Brown or Ash Grey.

  • Improve contrast and reduce blinding glare from sunlight reflected off the surface of objects, water or snow
  • Ideal for running, water sports or just spending time outdoors
  • Designed to work with most prescriptions and frames

Prescription sunwear

Clear glasses cannot substitute sunglasses, especially during the summer  season.

Firstly because the larger sunwear frames reduce the amount of UV rays entering directly into the eyes by the sides. Secondly it is a matter of visual comfort: tinted sun lenses reduce bright light, and polarised sun lenses reduce both bright light and reflected glare.

For these reasons, we recommend  you protect your eyes like you protect your skin with corrective sun lenses with the best eye-sun protection factor or E-SPF.

Our Crizal Sun UV coating guarantees an E-SPF of 50+ when added to your sunwear lenses.

Polarised lenses

Polarised sunwear gives you better protection and comfort than tinted lenses can achieve.

Ordinary tints can reduce brightness and provide UV protection but only polarised lenses offer no glare, better clarity of vision, the ability to see true colour and the fact the lens colour will not fade over time.

UV Protection: Everyone is at risk of vision damage because of harmful UV rays.
Our polarised lenses completely block UV rays providing 100% UVA/UVB protection – reducing potential vision damage. Polarised lenses allow you to experience your world more safely and more beautifully.
